I am Irem, a computer engineer who is passionate about art and design.
I graduated from Middle East Technical University with BSc in Computer Engineering and MSc in Game Technologies in Turkey under the supervision of Ahmet Uysal and Hüseyin Hacıhabiboğlu. I earned my MA degree in Media and Information (with Human-Computer Interaction specialization) at Michigan State University, advised by Taiwoo Park. Currently, I am working at Microsoft as a part of Azure IoT team and developing UI/UX for Azure Digital Twins service.
I am interested in using mixture of art, design, science and technology to create immersive and meaningful experiences, for better.
